Our Mission is to help preserve and strengthen families by building a strong, accessible and frequently used alternative domestic dispute resolution system in greater New Haven. We do this by,
educating people who have an interest in children’s wellbeing about alternative dispute resolution in addressing custody and parenting access schedules;
having a network of parenting coordinators who offer more creative solutions to parenting schedules, protection of confidentiality for families, and preservation of parent-child relationships, as compared to litigation;
having a network of counselors who provide free mental health services and reunification therapies for parents and children in underserved communities to help families heal;
helping to foresee challenges in parent-child relationships to prevent disruption and damage; and
activating the judicial system, law enforcement, hospitals, and universities to advocate for systemic changes.
